Friend of a Friend is a simple RDF dialect of XML for describing people, and the relationships between people. The goal of the project and specification is to build a forum for defining online communities, and networks of indviduals with similar interests.

As an example, my FOAF description can be transformed into XHTML from the RDF source using XSLT with the FoaF Explorer.
