Web Developer Resource Index: Developer Resources
For the time being, Developer Resources is an umbrella category, and as I populate the database and the index grows this folder will most likely splinter into several sub-categories. The application is designed for this, and from the viewpoint of usability—I don’t want any category to be too sparse (what good is an empty directory?), nor do I want any category too full because I want to limit the results to just one page of key resources.
You should note that the parent directory contains the category Accessibility. I would venture that this umbrella category will go away before long and be replaced in the parent directory by such things as:
- Standards
- Usability
- Information Architecture
- Design
And so on.
Note: that Standards has now been created in the parent directory and that I have moved the relevant resources from this folder there, and added quite a few new ones as well.
